The leader of the Lebanese terrorist organization Hezbollah, Hassan Nazrallah, is reportedly moving to Iran – if he has not already done so – well-informed sources told the Kuwaiti newspaper Al-Jarida.

The source tells the newspaper that the intelligence service in Lebanon and neighboring countries has registered extensive and encrypted communication between the Iranian Revolutionary Guards and Iranian-backed Hezbollah in connection with the move, the newspaper Jerusalem Post writes. Nasrallah will live in Tehran indefinitely and it is unclear when he will return to Lebanon, according to the newspaper.

The assassination attempt on Iranian nuclear scientist Mohsen Fakhrizadeh outside Tehran has prompted Nasrallah to fear for his own safety. Although he spends most of his time in an underground bunker, Nasrallah fears he will suffer the same fate. Therefore, he has also increased his own security. Read more about the assassination HERE.

The Hezbollah-affiliated newspaper Al-Manar reports that Israeli fighter jets flew at low altitude over the Lebanese capital Beirut on Wednesday night. Tensions in the region are at their highest after Iranian officials accused Israel of being behind the assassination of Fakhrizadeh and have threatened retaliation.
