IDF: – Children in the Gaza Strip are promised money if they are injured in riots

Israeli security forces have recently discovered that Hamas is sending children as young as eight to the front line during the violent protests along the Gaza border.

In addition, Hamas promises $ 83 as payment (approximately NIS 300) to children who are injured in the violent riots. It has previously appeared in the Israeli media without being confirmed. Now Israeli soldiers have heard that Hamas over loudspeakers promises to pay children who are injured at the border, writes Times of Israel.

Hamas does not want to respond to allegations that they are sending young children to the front line, nor does it want to promise money to children who are injured during the riots.

Since March 30, 2018, Hamas, Palestinian political factions and other groups have been organizing weekly protests along the border with Israel. The protests have often developed into violent riots, where firebombs, grenades were thrown and attempts were made to destroy the security fence between Israel and Gaza. That is why Israel is now spending billions building a new security barrier.

The new border fence is being built on Israeli territory, a few meters from the current fence, which is lower and much easier to pass. In recent years, there have been several cases where people have managed to cross the border between Gaza and Israel.
