MIFF Denmark is looking for an Internet journalist

Internet Journalist

MIFF is soon looking for one or more Danish employees who can keep the website miff.dk alive with news and background articles about Israel in easy-to-read Danish.

  • Follow with selected Israeli English-language media – and report in Danish.
  • Follow with Danish media and debate, report, and follow up.
  • Participate in the preparation of background articles, calls to action and action plans.
  • Update miff.dk , miff.dk’s Facebook page, and miffdk on Twitter.
  • Prepare Danish subtitles that can be used on videos where English or Norwegian is spoken. Danish proofreading in general.
  • Journalistic development projects by appointment as we get resources for it.

Our requirements and wishes for you

  • You have a good and safe linguistic handling of Danish, and a solid understanding of Norwegian and English.
  • You have knowledge of Israel and the Middle East, and would like experience with (voluntary) work for the cause of Israel.
  • It’s important that you can work together quickly and smoothly – and in a good mood.
  • In your dissemination work, you are primarily interested in being understood by the relevant Danish public, so that our information can be used actively.
  • You should preferably have experience with news dissemination on the Internet and in social media.
  • It’s easy for you to familiarize yourself with different systems and platforms – those you do not know in advance, we will help you get started.

Terms

MIFF Denmark is in a start-up phase. In the long run, we want to hire at least one full-time journalistic employee. Right now, a part-time job may be needed.

MIFF’s employees and volunteers all work from home offices, and we are therefore open to applicants from all over Denmark – and possibly Danes who live outside Denmark.

The journalist / journalists/' target='_blank'>journalists refer professionally to the daily manager and editor of MIFF Denmark, Dina Grossman.
