On January 27, a 17-year-old Palestinian terrorist attempted to stab a female Israeli soldier at a busy intersection in Judea and Samaria (West Bank). The soldier used his weapon to push the knife terrorist away from him before another soldier came to the scene and shot and killed the terrorist.

Fortunately, the Israeli soldier escaped the terrorist attack without physical injuries.

Already the day after the terrorist attack, the Palestinian Authority (PA), which receives several million dollars each year, had Danish tax dollars (read HERE) , turned the story upside down. In an article in the PA’s official newspaper Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, the terrorist had been the victim, writes Palestinian Media Watch.

The Israeli occupation forces executed a young man at a crossroads near the village of Hares, west of Salfit. Young Atallah Muhammad Rayyan, 17, of Qarawat Bani Hassan died as a martyr after being shot by occupier soldiers while at the crossroads near the village of Hares.

PA’s official newspaper Al-Hayat Al- Jadida , January 27, 2021.

The PA does not mention in the article that the “martyr” was in fact a terrorist who tried to kill an Israeli soldier. It was also not mentioned in other articles about the incident in the PA’s official newspaper. A newspaper like Denmark, by virtue of its general assistance to PA, also helps to finance.

PMP has revealed many similar examples of PA’s fake news. When an Israeli soldier tried to protect Palestinian journalists and told them to move so as not to be hit by oncoming traffic, the PA translated the soldier’s words into a racist comment. In the Arabic translation, the PA portrayed journalists as having to move because Palestinians were not allowed on the road.

The PA usually has it to present killed terrorists as innocent “martyrs” and make false allegations that Israel “executed them in cold blood.” But the PA is not alone in ignoring the realities.

The Palestinian branch of the Defense of the Children International (DCI-P) also completely ignores the fact that the killed terrorist was shot in self-defense. DCI-P has also received Danish development assistance funds – read more at NGO Monitor HERE.

On Twitter, they write that “Israeli forces shot and killed the first Palestinian child in 2021”. This is how the terrorist attack is also portrayed by several other anti-Israel forces and organizations.

Danish Palestinian Friendship Association spread the same fake news via Facebook:
