32 percent of the Norwegian population think it is entirely or fairly true that “Israel treats the Palestinians as badly as the Jews were treated during World War II”. 37 percent say it is “impossible to answer” the claim. Only 31 percent have sufficient knowledge of the Middle East today and / or World War II to distance themselves from the claim. The same problem is seen in Denmark – read the Anti Defamation League (ADL) study of the Danes’ attitude towards Jews in MIFF’s article HERE.

When the impression of Israel is so distorted to the unrecognizable in Norway and Denmark, it is rare for Israel’s friends to receive public honors. That is why it is all the more important to know that pro-Israel forces abroad see and recognize the work of MIFF.

To our pleasant surprise, Conrad Myrland, general manager of MIFF, has been named among the “top hundred people who will positively affect Jewish life in 2020” by the online magazine and newspaper The Algemeiner. List you find top politicians like Joe Biden, Donald Trump, Benjamin Netanyahu, Benny Gantz, Revuen Rivlin, Keir Starmer, Arab leaders like Emirates Crown Prince Mohammed bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, King of Bahrain, Israeli Defense Chief Aviv Kochavi, Mossad chief Yossi Cohen, chess legend Garry Kasparov and a host of other names in culture, academia, sports and other sectors.

– Conrad Myrland leads one of Europe’s largest pro-Israel groups and is at the forefront of supporting the Jewish state and fighting anti-Semitism in Scandinavia. Infinitum News was founded in 1978, and today has over 11,000 members, including politicians, athletes and other celebrities, writes The Algemeiner.

Watch Conrad Myrland comment on the December 3 live broadcast:

In November, Conrad Myrland was named on the Jewish News Syndicate’s list of the 40 most influential advocates for Israel on social media – read more HERE. As a result, MIFF had the opportunity to present our work in the Knesset – read more HERE.
